In 2009,CCAvenue made several value additions to its already robust solution - it added more options to its existing direct debit and mobile payment options, it went live with a new payment mode ‘Debit Cards’ and launched an Interactive Voice Response System ‘PhonePay'.

New Direct Debit Bank Options
CCAvenue has always strived to provide its merchant’s with the widest range of payment options to ensure that they can reach out and convert the largest posible audience into customers. Hence, the one constant activity at CCAvenue is the negotiation and addition of new payment options. In the past year, CCAvenue has signed net banking agreements with 13 Indian banks. With these new additions, you can now accept direct debit payments from customers having bank accounts with 30+ Indian banks. This list includes Axis Bank, Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Corporation Bank, Citibank, City Union Bank, Deutsche Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, IDBI Bank, J & K Bank, Karnataka Bank, Karur Vysya Bank Limited, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab National Bank, The Bank of Rajasthan, Royal  Bank of Scotland, South Indian Bank, State Bank Of India, State Bank of Indore, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Travancore, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank Of India, Vijaya Bank and Yes Bank.

New Mobile Payment Option
CCAvenue has gone ‘live’ with yet another mobile payment option ‘SBI Freedom’. SBI Freedom is a convenience, simple, secure, anytime and anywhere banking service offered by State Bank of India (SBI), oldest and largest commercial bank in India with a customer base of over 100 million. This new mobile payment option expands your market reach, as you can now target and capture those audiences who do not have a credit card, debit card or an internet enabled bank account.

Debit Cards
India maybe a credit adverse country but almost every individual with a bank account possesses an ATM cum Debit Cards. In the past year, CCAvenue has added 15+ Indian debit cards to already extensive payment list. You can now accept payments from customers holding debit cards with the following Indian Banks - Axis Bank, Barclays Bank, Canara Bank, Citi Bank, Corporation Bank, Cosmos Bank, Duetsche Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, ING Vysya, Karur Vysya Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank Of India, Union Bank Of India & Yes Bank.

PhonePay, an Interactive Voice Response Payment Solution
CCAvenue PhonePay is an interactive voice response payment (IVRP) solution through which you can confirm a purchase’s validity with an instant telephonic payment without risking your hard-earned reputation and company brand by collecting the customer’s payment information manually. Thus new solution increases your market reach by giving you secure access to 400 million telephone users .
