CCAvenue, South Asia's largest online payment gateway, will soon be adding more banks to its existing EMI option. This facility will allow account holders of these additional banks the freedom to make payments on CCAvenue's merchant websites in easy instalment plans. The CCAVENUE MULTI BANK EMI
option can be availed by customers by using their credit cards only.
The EMI payment facility will give customers the flexibility of making staggered payments in a suitable timeframe while buying products - mainly high-value merchandise. The customers can currently choose to pay for their desired products and services with 3 months and 6 months EMI options.
An EMI option enables customers to:
1. Make impulse purchase decisions
2. Make preponed plans to buy products they would not have normally purchased since they were unable to pay the entire amount upfront
3. Upgrade to a better or premium product of higher merchandise value
4. Unlock their liquidity that would induce them to make additional purchases on the merchant websites
CCAvenue Multi Bank EMI will initially be available for customers of the banks listed below:
IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Citibank
Many more leading banks will be signing up for this scheme shortly.
Multi Bank EMI payment facility is a much anticipated add-on to CCAvenue's large bouquet of payment options viz. 5 Credit Cards, 50+ Debit Cards, ATM-cum Debit Cards, 44+ Net Banking, 4 Cash Cards and 2 Mobile Payments. The TDR charged for processing EMI transactions are very nominal, which means that merchants would not have to compromise on their margins.
CCAvenue caters to 85% of the total Indian online merchant base, striving hard to enhance the revenue earning potential of these businesses. Merchants would need to avail this EMI facility so as to reach out to more customers and give a boost to their businesses. Moreover, the CCAVENUE MULTI BANK EMI
facility will help ensure maximum positive customer purchases to increase the sale potential of these merchants.
